Trip Overview
Jungle safari let you explore the spectacular view of nature and witness the rare and endangered wildlife species of nine national park of Terai region closely. It is an activity which is suitable to all age groups which does not need any physical strength unlike other adventurous activities like rafting, bungee etc. It is one of the easiest and pleasant trips which will let you be close with nature. You will do an elephant safari and explore the endangered animals which are preserved in these national parks. Jungle safari is also an ideal place for an adventure. Also, you can enjoy the jeep safari as well. It is your choice whether you want to have elephant safari or jeep safari. During the trip, the guide will guide you and inform you about all the rare species.
Nepal is a country which is rich, both culturally and naturally which makes it a suitable place for recreational activities like the Himalayas are popular for mountaineering and trekking just like Terai (lowlands) for its nature and wildlife habitats which are preserved in National parks and conservation areas. There are 9 national park, 6 conservation area, 3 wildlife reserves and 1 hunting reserve in Nepal. Also, Nepal is also a home for 180 species of mammals and 800 species of birds. Many kinds of endangered species are found here like a one-horned rhino, snow leopard, Bengal tiger and many more. And during your 4-hour safari, you will get to see all those endangered species very closely and study about them. So, jungle safari let you explore all these national parks where animals are preserved and protected. Besides, Tharu culture is a prime attraction over here. Your trip will let you have a slight experience of Tharu culture as well.

Activities
Elephant Back Safari: travel through open grassland and dense forest on elephant back in search of rare games. Be on the lookout for the great one horned Rhino, four species of deer, wild boar, sloth bear, leopard bison and the big one the Royal Bengal Tiger.
Canoeing: A typical hand-made dugout canoe will take you for a ride on the great Rapti River where you can see gavials and marsh mugger crocodiles basking in the sun and can enjoy watching the many colourful birds.
Jungle walk: you can enjoy a nature walk in the jungle in safety accompanied by our well-trained naturalist who through ancient groves of perch in a strategically located with the tower (Machan) to observe animals grazing, drinking at the pond or resting at the bushes.
Bird watching: Bird lovers will have many opportunities to see the different species of birds in the early morning as the new day dawns.
Buffer zone village tour: Experience the unique culture of the Tharu people, Relish what their culture is like in the Tharu village museum in the heart of Sauraha near the resort. For centuries, the Tharus have lived very close to this protected area and hence their tradition reflects their intimate relationship with the natural world. Visit the Tharu village and share their world with them as you reach out to touch another culture.
Elephant breeding Center: of all the animals, elephants are the most graceful. Our naturalist will take you to the Hatisar to demonstrate how an elephant’s meal is prepared and how they eat in the elephant Breeding centre. They will explain the nature and habits of the elephant and you can enjoy the twin born baby elephant.
Folk Dance: After dinner, our friendly trained naturalist and jungle guide are there to make you feel at home and tell you jungle stories. This follows a breathtaking Tharu stick dance( A culture program performed by the ethnic group of Chitwan).
